	i am pregnant with my second child around four weeks but i look as though i am showing already i took a long time to show with my first child around five months but my tummy is very swollen and very firm and sits just as though i am showing i have no pain or nothing unusual so was wondering if this is just swelling and may go down or could i be showing this early?

It could be due to obesity or rapid weight gain in these four months or hypoproteinemia etc. You need to see a OB/GYN specialist for further confirmation on this. Best. 	Follow up: Clarification by charly on Sat 27, Jun 2009 04:25am: i am very slim so i know this is not due to weight gain but i am also vegetarian as you said about the hypoproteinemia could this be a possibility as i could be lacking protein?also why would this only happen when i fall pregnant does that mean it is more likely to just be swelling?
