swollen stomach all the time and always on period

	Asked by harrishen13 (Female; 29; 20636; suffer from pelvic floor infections and water infections heavy periods ) on Wed 22, Apr 2009 02:53pm
	I am very worried I had the contraception injection DEPO and bled for 12 weeks on and off so doctor suggested to not have 2nd injection, then didn't bleed for a month. I then came on my period very heavy lasted 2 weeks I am still bleeding now it is brownish in colour on the pad but when I wipe after going to the toilet it is red. I have a swollen stomach all the time it feels heavy and uncomfortable I look 4 months pregnant. I have had 3 children so I know I am not pregnant and also being on my period for this long with also the swollen stomach my husband and I have not been able to have sexual intercourse. I am very worried and I don't know what to do. I went for a smear test on monday came away worried for the nurse had no answers why I was bleeding and no clue on how my cervix looked. Please help

You may experience more frequent or longer heavier bleeding or you may get spotting (brown discharge) or no bleeding at all. It may also one of the cause of your swollen stomach (bloating).If bloating is your main concern, then an anti-spasmodic such as natural treatments like aloe vera and peppermint oil tablets both of which work on bloating may be tried.
