	Answer by Dr Bhupinder K, MD (doctor) on Thu 30, Apr 2009 11:14am: Hello, Generally the uterus takes around 4-6 weeks to come back to its normal size and function after a caeserean.So it is advisable to wait for this much time,then have an examination from a gynecologist and if every thing is found OK,then methods of contraception can be discussed and intercourse can be strated.
